Summer Reading:  All incoming Winburn students have reading assignments to enjoy and complete over the summer. Parents and Students please check your team pages to see the details:

Winburn MS is the proud recipient of a grant from the Blue Grass Community Foundation.  These funds will be used to develop resources that will be used by students in Language Arts Classes.  We appreciate the support of BGCF!!!

Congratulations Winburn Student District Science Fair Participants!
 Nearly 600 FCPS, private and home-schooled students participated in the Fayette County district science fair held Saturday at Bryan Station HS. Overall 6th grade winner was Winburn's Valerie Sarge! 6th grade 1st place medalists were Haley Copeland and Nathan McKee, Urvi Patwardhan, 2nd place medalist:
Elizabeth Minor.
 8th grade 1st place medalists:
Lizzie Baker, Slavina Goleva, Yih-Jwu Hsiao, 2nd place medalists: Sheehan Lake, Eleana Thompson.

Homework Expectations:
Students will have homework throughout the school year.
The expectation is that homework will be completed at home and returned the next day during class.  Parents can keep up with the student's homework through the agenda and the homework hotline (381-3969).

School Start Times have changed slightly:
Our school hours will be from 9:05 A.M. to 3:55 P.M.
Students may enter the building at 8:35 A.M. and report to the library, gymnasium or to the cafeteria.
